Christine has sung
with numerous choirs from a very young age. She has studied voice as well as piano and flute. If pushed she will even
pick up the accordion! Christine's family has been in the US since 1957. She has maintained an active interest in her
Swedish identity, is a dual citizen and speaks Swedish fluently. She continues to draw inspiration from Scandinavian
themes in her practice as a residential architect.
Elisabeth, a native
Swede who came to America in 1985, lends her valuable knowledge of the Swedish traditions to the group. Music has always been
important to her and she has sung with many different choirs and as a soloist. She has studied voice, piano and organ
and as a youth worked as an organist in the churches of her home parish. Elisabeth works for an insurance company and
enjoys spending time in her cabin "up north".
