* Saturday, December 20, time TBD, Flickorna Fem will perform during the Nordic Christmas Celebration at the American Swedish Institute in Minneapolis. This special event is a festive way to learn about some of the various Nordic Christmas traditions. * Saturday, April 18, 2009, at 2:00 PM, the group will entertain at the Dakota County Library's Minnesota Mosaic series at 508 Third St in downtown Farmington. * Saturday, June 20, 2009, time TBD, the girls will sing at the American Swedish Institute's Midsommar Celebration. This annual festival includes music, folk dancing, colorful Swedish folk costumes, arts and crafts, food, activities for families, and the raising of the Swedish Midsummer pole. ----------------------------------------------------------- |

* In July 2007, the group entertained during Minneapolis Institute of Art's exibition A Mirror of Nature: Nordic Landscape Painting.
* In July 2006, Flickorna Fem sang the national anthems at Schwan's USA Cup, where Sweden's national women's soccer team played USA and Canada.
* In March 2006, the quintet "opened" for Benny Anderson Orkester. Benny Andersson is one of Sweden’s most well known musical figures, having been part of ABBA and the co-creator of musicals such as Chess, Kristina från Duvemåla, and Mama Mia.
* In February 2006, Flickorna Fem entertained at the Scandinavian Hjemkomst Festival's 3rd Annual Nordic Gala at the Hjemkomst Center in Fargo-Moorhead, ND.
* Flickorna Fem performed at Julfest in Rockford, Illinois, in December 2005.
* In June 2004 the group perfomed at Marshall Field's Day of Music.
* Flickorna Fem is a member of the American Union of Swedish Singers (www.auss.org) participated in its region convention in Detroit in 2006. The group also performed to much acclaim at its national convention in Dearborn, MI, June 2004, as well as at the regional convention in Illinois two years prior, and at the 2000 national convention in Minneapolis.
* In June of 2004, the quintet sang at Cambridge Lutheran Church Swedish Festival.
* In May 2004, Flickorna was part of the muscial entertainment at the Living Green Expo
in St. Paul.
* In May 2003, the quintet presented the workshop "A Musical Year in Sweden" as part of the Federal Executive Board of Minnesota's Diversity Day.
* In December 2002, the group participated in Flying Foot Forum's Holiday Cabaret at the Southern Theatre.
* In October 2002, Flickorna Fem sang for King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia during their visit to the American Swedish Institute to dedicate the new veranda and gardens.
* Flickorna Fem participated in
St. Paul's Capital New Year 2001 celebration. They were broadcasted on
ABC and Peter Jenning's New Year's program as well as the local news on
Channel 5. *In August
2001, Flickorna Fem
traveled to Sweden for the first time as a group. They performed at six
occasions, including the celebration of
Emigrant Days and Minnesota Day in Växjö.
* The group performed in November 2000 on the Swedish Cultural Hour of
the Minneapolis radio station, KFAI. * The group sang during a
special recognition event in honor of former University of Minnesota
President Nils Hasselmo.
